Piers Haskard's photography expresses his vision of Australia's stunning coast and the iconic lifestyle by the sea.

While proudly calling Manly and it’s surroundings home, Piers has been developing a unique body of work for several years while growing up on its shores. With an ever growing fascination in ocean photography, Piers’ main focus lies within the raw energy and colour of seascapes found at all hours of the day. Influenced by a lifetime by the coast, his work embodies the beauty of nature in a frequently changing, sometimes unpredictable environment with an affinity toward the relationship between water and light. Piers’ work prompts his audience to see and experience the ocean from a new perspective.

Based in Manly, Sydney, Piers travels locally within the Northern Beaches and along the Australian coast to find and document new experiences above and below the surface. Photography has naturally inspired a sense of adventure with his most recent project leading him as far as the Icelandic Highlands with plenty more planned for the future.

Piers currently works as a freelance photographer, videographer and drone operator for various commissioned projects ranging from advertising to digital content.
